Oscars and such
Sunday was the Oscars. The Departed won best picture, which was a surprise I thought. Haven’t seen the other movies yet so I can’t really say. Martin Scorsese finally got his statue for directing. Again, I’m not sure, I have a feeling it’s more of an honor for all the times he didn’t get one. Disappointed Pan’s Labyrinth didn’t win best foreign, but then again I didn’t see the rest of the noms. Everything else went as expected. Ellen was funny.
Played Virtua Fighter 5 at Matt’s. Makes me want a PS3. Only a little bit. Saw some at Target the other day. Guess no one is buying. Still no Wii’s though.
My office is moving in a couple weeks and we’re starting to sort through what we need to pack up. It’s not going to be fun, but at least I get a day off.
