Shieldzone

A while back when I bought my girlfriend an Ipod for her birthday, I also got her the InvisibleShield from Shieldzone. It’s pretty much an indestructible plastic that covers the entire body and keeps it scratch proof. It’s an awesome product especially for the Ipod since they are so scratch prone.

The Nintendo DS Lite’s similar Ipod-ish design had me concerned about scratching it. So I got the DS Lite shield from them recently. The company is great, they sell the DS Lite Full body shield for the outside and the screens on the inside. I didn’t want the inside so I emailed them and they were glad to sell me only the outer shield at a lower price. I put it on yesterday and it went well. Only thing frustrating about putting it on is keeping dust out before covering it. One complaint about the DS Lite shield is it doesn’t cover the sides, only top and bottom. But I’m happy with it and won’t worry about scratching it anymore.

I also bought the Applesauce polish scratch removal kit from them. My old Ipod was scratched to hell. After getting quite a few scratches originally, I stopped caring and let it scratch all it wants. But I thought I give it a second chance. After a few hours of buffing and polishing, you can’t even see the scratches on the front. The back on the other hand was a major problem, and I didn’t care enough to work on it that much. I put a shield on it and happy with the result. Too bad I forgot to take a before picture. Too lazy anyhow.

Thus ends my shameless plug, but I highly recommend this company and their products.
