All is Lost

The Lost finale last night didn’t disappoint. It answered some questions, while presenting more. Can’t wait for next season. I did see a Hanso Foundation commercial which turned out to be an Alternate Reality Game much like the the Beast game they had for the movie A.I. and ilovebees for Halo 2. It’s really a brilliantly thought out and mind racking game of detective work and puzzle solving. If you’re interested you can simply start at http://www.thehansofoundation.org and the phone number (877) HANSORG. It’ll trip you out.

Also saw Da Vinci Code today, it was okay. Didn’t stray far from the book, but didn’t have any special feel to the movie.

Season Finales

It’s that time all the shows are coming to an end this season.

Veronica Mars finale was awesome, and it’s been confirmed for next season on the new network the CW. So good news for Mars fans. Can’t get enough of Kristen Bell.

Prison Break finale was awful. It was a big let down. Not only was the ending lame, the writing throughout the episode was just dumb. It was really disappointing considering the other episodes were pretty decent throughout.

24 was awesome. Cliffhanger ending was so crazy and a crazy setup for next season. This season has been much better than 3 and 4. At first President Logan seemed like such a lame character but became so sleezy you love to hate him. Martha Logan was also a wonderful character and gave a great performance at the end.

Lost is up next and I’m excited and curious as to what will unfold. Damn Michael!

OMGWTFMGS4

15 Minute trailer is like …. woah

Yeah MGS4 looks awesome. In other news:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl announced for Wii, new characters include Pit (Kid Icarus), Zero Suit Samus, Some metal guy from Kirby, Wario, and…. omgwtf Solid Snake!

I was knocking the Wii for awhile, but the recent trailers make it look really fun. Of note: Red Steel and Zelda. Not to mention Wario Ware hilarity.

Regards: E3

I don’t think I will be going to E3 this year. I’ve gone the last three years, and it was fun and all, but all the hassle of driving, parking, standing in lines, shuffling through crowds, isn’t really worth it to me anymore. Besides, coverage of this event is easily accessible online. Only thing I will miss out on is the free stuff and being able to play the games.

I will pay close attention to the online media this week to catch all the news and media. Here’s the news for today:

Playstation 3 official release date in the US is November 17. Price is going ot be $499 for 20 gb version, and $599 for the 60 gb version.

20 gb version of the PS3 will lack HDMI output, as well as memory stick and other flash card readers, and Wifi will be absent. Guess I’m getting the 60 gb.

Playstation 3 ‘boomerang’ controller is gone, official PS3 controller looks alot like the current PS2 controller. L2 and R2 buttons are more analog like Xbox 360. There is a center PS3 button much like the 360’s. It will also have gyroscoping features like the Wii controller. Of course it will be wireless with a USB port for wired use. And it will lose the rumble feature.

Microsoft confirms a HD-DVD addon for the Xbox 360.

Final Fantasy XIII

ff13

E3 this week and Square Enix has made some announcements. First, Final Fantasy XIII was confirmed for the PS3 with some screenshots. Also, another PS3 title, Final Fantasy Versus XIII. They also mention a FF7 title for PSP, and a Crystal Chronicles title for Wii. read

Pirates!

Saw the new trailer for Pirates of the Carribean 2, and it looks great. Johnny Depp is awesome and it looks like a lot of fun. It didn’t seem like much when I saw the first trailer, but this one got my attention. Kraken!

There’s also a new Superman Returns trailer. Looks more interesting, but I still don’t know.

MI:3 this weekend, I’ll probably see it, even though Tom Cruise is a freak. Looks like good fun. Will be interesting to see how the creator of Lost and Alias will handle a movie like this.
