Hanging out with Matt

Yesterday went over to my friend, Matt’s place to hang out. We had Japanese food, saw Wedding Crashers, played some games, saw Sahara on DVD, and other miscellaneous stuff. We used to work together at Square Enix, but he lives like near Northridge, so it’s pretty far to drive down there, so I don’t go very often. Wedding Crashers was pretty good, funnier and more enjoyable than I expected. Sahara wasn’t bad. We played a few rounds of Unreal Championship 2 on Xbox. I actually got really bored of it real fast. I think I’m just really sick of first person shooters. UC2 had so many elements to keep in mind. It added melee attacks, Mortal Kombat style fatalities, wall jump manuevers, and adrenaline power up abilities. The action is real fast, and it will be great for those that enjoy that sort of game. I’m just tired of it I guess.

School’s Out

I took my last final today, and school is officially over for the summer. I finally start my summer break. It lasts about 3 weeks before I head back to school. I don’t think I did well on my math final I took today. I did very well the entire quarter, but screwed up the final. I guess I felt good about it before and didn’t study as much. I had trouble sleeping the night before, and when I finally fell asleep, my dog wakes everyone up by barking. He found a possum in the front yard and just barked at it for ages. I woke up and had trouble sleeping agian. So, when I took the final I didn’t feel well and my mind blanked out. Hopefully I don’t do too bad and my other grades balance it out. I guess I passed all my other classes. No A’s this quarter, all these classes are just hard, and hard to focus on. I’ll do better in the fall for sure.
