Film Faves

I had 5 minutes free so I was reflecting on the past year. I had a lot of favorite movies, and here’s my attempt of ranking them:

1. The Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King
2. Lost in Translation
3. Pirates of the Carribean
4. Whale Rider
5. Kill Bill vol.1
6. Finding Nemo
7. Big Fish
8. The Last Samurai
9. Master and Commander
10. X2: X-Men United

Honorable mentions:
Bend it Like Beckham, Matrix Reloaded/Revolutionss, Azumi, Better Luck Tomorrow

Unseen candidates:
Mystic River, City of God, Seabiscuit, Dirty Pretty Things, American Splendor

While I’m on the subject, here’s my worst films of 2003. Of course, I try not to watch bad movies, but sometimes it happens :( :

1. Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
2. Cradle 2 the Grave
3. The Medallion
4. Bulletproof Monk
5. Legally Blonde 2
6. 2 Fast 2 Furious

The grey area, not great, but not bad. Usually liked the movie, but had problems with some aspects:
Hulk, Terminator 3, Daredevil

Gallery Update

Had some free time so I put up all the pictures that used to be on the gallery, and added a few more. My diskspace is getting low, I might have to get the slightly higher webhost plan to compensate.

Break

Be away for awhile, until I get used to my crazy schedule.

Things to Do

I start school today at Cal Poly Pomona. Not used to waking up this early. It was a nice vacation although a busy one. With my parents gone I had a lot of chores around the house and cooking was an interesting experiment after another. We had a nice Christmas dinner, which is something I never really had done before. Watched Return of the King and was quite possibly the greatest film ever, or at least the greatest epic trilogy ever. I also caught Lost in Translation, The Last Samurai, and Master and Commander, all of which I liked very much. New Year’s was nothing special.

Things to do: redesign website, redesign review section differently, level up in FFXI
