Final Fantasy XII
So, some images for Final Fantasy XII came out. I was hearing things like, it’s gonna be totally different blah blah. The character design looks a lot like X’s. What’s worse, the lead male character looks so gay! He is worst than Tidus and Squall combined. You can practically make a few minor adjustments to his hair and face and he’d be a girl! But I guess this is what the girls want so I suppose Square knows what they are doing. *shrug* I just hope the gameplay is something new and interesting.
update: Here’s a shaky cam of some footage of the game. It certainly looks interesting.

The fact that Van has extreme effeminate qualities is a staple of Japanese culture more than it is American - take j-pop music star Gackt - he’s very much so a “pretty boy”. I suppose I’m neutral to it and more attentive, of course, to Ashe (the female hume).
The fact that the man behind FFT and FFTA is on this one is particularly interesting to me. So hopefully gameplay is good. I’m optimistic only because I don’t want to bash the thought of enjoying a game out next year.

That’s not to say that he’s deniably “girly”. At least by our perception
I just hope that we don’t have to go through another “he doesn’t know where he comes from” phase. That’s been a staple of a lot of the FF recent games. I’d like to control a character who knows his history and his mission. FF IV comes to mind.

You guys make to many opinions… Bleh, Well all I just want is that this game better blow your shoes away. Not only have an incedible story, and I don’t mind it being like a guy that he doesn’t know where he comes from. I want to explore the world, a bunch of hidden secrets like FF VII and the landscape of FF IX. Beutiful world, and so much to do. Also, hidden characters that you can have in your party. A bunch of weapons. And a whole lot of monsters like in FF VII. Music that will make you in the mood. My god, this game better combine all the games at once… Or it will suck majorly…
