Chemical Brothers “Get Yourself High”
Friend passed this along to me. I think it is pure genius. The Chemical Brothers have a new song called “Get Yourself High”. While the song is okay, the music video is awesome. It uses footage from an old 70s kung fu flick called Shaolin yu Wu Dang (Two Champions of Death). The characters are digitally edited to lip sync some of the lyrics and to carry some props along with the music. It is truly hilarious. After some research I found out the work is done by KromA. The actual English translation is usually “Two Champions of Shaolin”, although the Chinese title is literally “Shaolin vs. Wu-tang”. They JUST re-released a restored version on DVD for Region 3 — just great over-the-top fight scenes (especially the ending). I find it kind of interesting that the Chemical Brothers’ video got released at almost exactly the same time, what a coindicence.

hi from Turkey, wassup?
i am working for medicine company and it is so boring and tiring( but turkey & economical crisis; you know i am compelled )..when i ve first seen the video; i was paralyzed;i ve noticed that there is no differenz the fighters (fighting for the shaolin masters) and me and my office mates..:)) so ridiculous isnt it? :))
